Introductory First Aid

Our four-hour Introductory First Aid course equips participants with important, immediate, and practical lifesaving skills. Learn how to assist a collapsed person, manage someone who is unconscious, recognise when CPR is required, and perform CPR on adults, children, and infants. You'll also discover how to use a defibrillator (AED), respond to choking emergencies, and manage life-threatening bleeding. This course is an accessible option for anyone interested in building confidence to respond effectively to someone in need of help. Please note, this course does not award any unit standards. If you need unit standard 6402, we recommend our Save-a-life course. For more in-depth first aid training, including a wider range of advanced topics, we recommend our Comprehensive First Aid or Essential First Aid courses.
