Our four-hour First Aid for Parents and Caregivers course provides clear, practical first aid skills tailored to infants and young children. You will learn how to recognise emergency situations and respond confidently to choking, asthma, injuries, allergic reactions, and other common childhood emergencies. Please note, this course does not award unit standards. If you require unit standards for in-home childcare, we recommend our Essential First Aid course, which awards unit standards 6401 and 6402.

Delivered in a supportive learning environment, the course offers practical demonstrations, helpful guidance, and the opportunity to practise essential first aid actions.
