Psychological First Aid (PFA) is an evidence informed approach to helping people affected by a traumatic event, Ie flood, fire, earthquake, road rage, bad customer service experience, marriage break up, financial troubles, COVID etc. We help participants understand their own stressors and how to minimise their affect to not only maintain their wellbeing but also be able to provide PFA.

The aim of providing PFA is to reduce a person’s distress, to meet their current capabilities. We use “LOOK, LISTEN, LINK” as our 3 action principles which provide a framework that gives you the practical strategies to help somebody. We help participants understand their own stressors and how to minimise their affect to not only maintain their wellbeing but also be able to provide PFA.
